Professional Consulting
BASS-ABA LLC
Established in 2017 by Julia Bass, BCBA, LBA, LABA. She has been working in the human services field since 1999 in a variety of settings from residential, school,
adult day, and home based.
She attended Rhode Island College for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Simmons College in Boston Massachusetts for her graduate degree in Education with an emphasis on Behavioral Education.
Julia sat and passed her exam to become a Board - Certified Behavior Analyst in 2004 and has been practicing in the field since.

A Comprehensive Approach
B.A.S.S. provides Applied Behavioral Analytic (ABA) services to help children and families with Developmental Delays and Autism Spectrum Disorder acquire basic living skills, language development and social skills

Services
BASS-ABA Offers the Following

Parent Training
The clinician will consult and work with the family to set up individualized programming in the child’s home or community. The clinician will provide a comprehensive assessment of current level of functioning and work with parents and caregivers and assist in areas to make the family set their child up to reach the full potential and for success.

Assessments
Both formal and informal assessments to help determine where your child’s strengths and areas of need are. Types of assessments that may be conducted are: Functional Behavioral Assessments, Assessment of Basic Language and Learning, Revised (A.B.L.L.S.-R.) Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (V.B.-M.A.P.P.), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (A.F.L.S.) and Essentials for Living.

Home Based Therapeutic Services
A BCBA will work directly with your child to create a program and then train a behavior technician to implement the plan in the home utilizing research-based strategies of Applied Behavioral Analysis including discrete trial instruction (D.T.I.). Incorporating incidental teaching methodologies to educate the child on a variety of skills including language acquisition, activities of daily living skills and social skills as well as work on behavior reduction.

Consulting
A BCBA will consult with school districts, attend I.E.P. (Individualized Education Plan) meetings, help train staff to utilize teaching strategies, environmental manipulations as well as visual aids to help increase the success of the students.
